Therapeutic services
You don't have to know what's wrong to start healing.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or a sense that something deeper is keeping you stuck — I offer evidence-based, depth-oriented care that gets to the root. I specialize in Complex PTSD, and I've found that the approaches that work best for trauma tend to work best for everything else, too.
Treatment modalities
How we work together
I draw from three core evidence-based approaches, weaving them together based on what you need in any given session — whether that's processing a memory, exploring a relational pattern, or working at the level of the nervous system. No two sessions look exactly alike — and that's intentional.
Deep Brain Reorienting
Brainstem-level trauma resolution
Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) is a cutting-edge approach developed by Dr. Frank Corrigan that works directly at the level of the brainstem — the deepest neurological seat of trauma. Rather than processing memories top-down through cognition, DBR attends to the shock and orienting responses that are activated before conscious thought, allowing the nervous system to resolve trauma at its root. Early clinical trials have shown promising results, with participants reporting significant reductions in trauma symptoms, emotional reactivity, and somatic distress.
- Developed by Dr. Frank Corrigan, psychiatrist and trauma researcher
- Level 3 trained with S2 protocol training
- Targets brainstem orienting and shock responses underlying CPTSD
- Works beneath the level of narrative — no detailed retelling required
- Particularly effective for early, pre-verbal, and attachment trauma
- Clinical trials show significant reductions in PTSD symptoms, emotional dysregulation, and body-held distress
EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing
EMDR is one of the most well-researched trauma therapies available. It works by helping the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they lose their emotional charge. Rather than reliving the past, you move through it — and leave it behind.
- Recognized by the WHO and APA for trauma treatment
- Effective for single-incident and complex, repeated trauma
- Does not require detailed verbal recounting of events
- Typically produces results faster than traditional talk therapy
Attachment & Relational Therapy
Healing through safe relationship
CPTSD is fundamentally a wound of relationship — and it heals in relationship. Drawing on attachment theory and relational psychodynamic approaches, this work explores how early bonds shaped your patterns of connection, self-worth, and trust. The therapeutic relationship itself becomes a living model of what safe, attuned connection feels like.
- Grounded in attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology
- Addresses relational trauma, abandonment, and enmeshment patterns
- Helps rebuild the capacity for trust, intimacy, and secure connection
- Integrates naturally with EMDR and Deep Brain Reorienting
Session formats
Flexible options to support your healing
Individual therapy
One-on-one sessions tailored entirely to your needs, history, and goals. This is the foundation of the work.
Extended processing sessions
Longer sessions for deeper EMDR or DBR work. Recommended when you're in an active processing phase and need more time to complete a cycle.

Who I work with
You may be in the right place if…
- You struggle with anxiety, depression, or low mood — and you've tried things that help a little, but nothing seems to stick
- You've done a lot of work on yourself — therapy, books, self-improvement — but feel like you keep hitting the same wall
- Your relationships feel hard in ways you can't quite explain — patterns that repeat no matter how much you want them to change
- You find yourself turning to food, substances, screens, or other behaviors to cope — and you want to understand why, not just stop
- Your body holds the stress — tension, chronic pain, fatigue, or physical symptoms that don't have a clear medical cause
- You've experienced trauma, neglect, or a difficult past — whether or not you'd call it CPTSD — and it still shows up in your daily life
- You're a high-functioning person who looks fine on the outside but feels exhausted, disconnected, or like something important is missing
- You're a therapist yourself — you know the language, you do the work, and yet something still feels unresolved in your own life
Healing is possible — we often just need the right supports.
That uncertainty is completely normal. I'm happy to answer questions and talk through whether this approach might be a good fit.
